Exhibition in Veneto - The Land of Venice

The initiative of the Widespread Exhibitions in Veneto was born from the collaboration between Arte Laguna Prize and some villas, residences and cultural institutions of the territory with the aim of continuing to promote and discover the new talents of today’s artistic system, and at the same time enhance those residences and historic houses of the territory whose historical-artistic value is internationally recognized. Tradition and innovation thus meet, laying the foundations for fruitful and lasting communication.

Thanks to the presence of these works of contemporary art, an artistic path has been created that connects different realities allowing the public, even those who already know them, to approach them in a different light. The rich calendar of events, developed throughout 2022, will also give visitors the opportunity to meet the creators of the works, creating innovative situations of comparison and dialogue.

At the Thiene Castle, in the horse gallery on the first floor, the exhibition of three of the finalist works for the 2021 edition. Movement is the protagonist of the three works, more direct in the sculpture of Anja Maria Strauss, where the natural component enchants with its ethereal movement, more discreet instead in the works of Dong Xing and Nolet de Brauwere, where the artist's gesture creates a dynamic cross-section on the pictorial support.
