Salem - The Witches’ Village

On the occasion of SALEM, on October 31st Castello di Thiene will be transformed into an enchanted and mysterious place, also designed especially for children.
From 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, visitors will be free to take part in the permanent activities and the different events scheduled throughout the afternoon.
PERMANENT ACTIVITIES | 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm
THE WITCHES’ MAKE-UP CORNER
A special area where children can transform themselves into little witches, magical creatures and Halloween characters.
THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHALLENGE
A drop-in pumpkin carving and decorating workshop.
Participants can create their own Halloween pumpkin and enter it in the final competition.
Everyone should bring their own pumpkin. We may also provide a limited number of pumpkins, which will be available for purchase.
4:30 pm – Award ceremony for the best pumpkin
THE WITCH’S LAIR
From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, a small spooky trail will be open for the bravest visitors.
A short and atmospheric experience, designed for children who are ready for a few little thrills… inside the witch’s lair!
SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES
3:00 pm and 4:00 pm – THE WITCH’S KITCHEN
A magical potion workshop in the witch’s kitchen.
Mysterious ingredients, bubbling concoctions and secret spells: young apprentices will learn how to make their very own magical potions.
3:30 pm and 4:30 pm – HALLOWEEN CHALLENGES
Halloween-themed team games featuring challenges, trials and little puzzles.
Participants will be divided into teams and compete to win the title of the most… bewitched team in the castle!
The winning team will be announced at the end of the final challenge.
