In collaboration with the Municipality of Thiene, the Pedemontana.Vi Tourism Association and Confcommerce Thiene mandate, VIRIDALIA will be back at Thiene Castle.
Exhibition market of plants, flowers, objects for living naturally the house and the garden; Vegetable food from vegetable gardens and organic and biodynamic gardens.
About seventy exhibitors from Italy and abroad with rare and recovered collections of plants, along with those who cultivate them to produce healthy foods respecting their naturalness.
The two days in the Castle offer a total-immersion experience in the new way of gardening with ancient knowledge. Organic and biodynamic gardening for our well-being and the beauty of our garden that permeates many aspects of life.
The proposal is to live with all our senses a different style of life that reminds us of respect for nature and man.
PROGRAM OF 2017 EDITION
THEMES OF THE YEAR - Wild flowers, from spontaneous meadows to urban gardens.
Spontaneous flowers in the contemporary garden of natural inspiration, as an aesthetic and functional element for the restoration of biodiversity and for the management of green ecosystem. From the small flowerbed to the flowery meadow, the rediscovery of a delicate beauty in harmony with man and the environment.

Discover the ancient Japanese art of the Ikebana, for those who have passion and love for plants, flowers, and creativity, capable of demonstrating the ability and sensitivity of each one. The Sogetsu School (literally "grass and moon") was founded in 1927 by Sofu Teshigahara, an artist considered to be likened to his friends Picasso and Dalí. The ikebana Sogetsu is made up of lines, color and mass and hence the possibility of infinite creativity unfolds.
